Who We Are

Athens Yoshukai Karate began in 2006, started by Sensei Erik Hofmeister, a 3rd-degree black belt at the time. When Sensei Hofmeister moved to Arizona in 2017, he passed the leadership of the school on to Sensei Hali Serrian, currently a 2nd-degree.

Athens Yoshukai Karate is a small group of practitioners with like-minded goals and interests: traditional martial arts values and applications, physical fitness, having fun while learning, and camaraderie. Students and instructors are open and welcoming to new members, and we hope to meet you soon!
